So basically, from what I gathered, these “AAA Quality” things are supposed to be, like, the best knock-offs you can find. They’re pretending to be HERMES, the real deal, but for, you know, way cheaper. I saw prices like $35.00 thrown around. Hermes doesn’t have any price like that.
The thing that gets me is the whole “AAA Quality” thing. It’s like, come on, nobody actually believes that, do they? Like, okay, maybe they’re *trying* to make it look good, maybe the stitching is *almost* perfect, maybe it *feels* kinda nice. But at the end of the day, it’s still fake. It’s a copy. No hate to the manufacturer, but still, it’s a copy.
I saw one site—AABrands.net, I think?—that was pushing these caps and hats. They were all about “Discount HERMES Caps&Hats Free Shipping, Best Quality Best Price!” Which, LOL. Right. Free shipping on a *fake* Hermes hat. The irony is palpable.
Then there was another site, yeskicks.cn, advertising “Amazing Alternatives To Hermes Belts” and, of course, “Hermes Hat AAA Quality (9).” What’s with the “(9)”? Is that, like, a quality rating? Nine out of what? Ten? Infinity? It’s so vague, it’s almost comical.
Look, I get it. Not everyone can afford a real Hermes hat. They’re probably expensive. But is it really worth walking around with a fake that everyone *knows* is fake? I dunno, maybe it is for some people. Maybe they just want the *look* of luxury without the actual price tag.
Personally, I’d rather save up and buy something that’s actually good quality, even if it’s not a “name brand.” Or, you know, just buy a decent hat from Target. It’s less embarrassing, IMHO.
