First off, I saw someone on Reddit asking for a dupe for “Hello Beautiful” which, honestly, makes me think it’s either discontinued (UGH, why do they *always* discontinue the good stuff?!) or just, y’know, REALLY popular. Or both. Maybe that’s why I can never actually find it in the store anymore, just a bunch of, like, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles (no offense to pumpkin spice lovers, but it’s March. Let it GO.)
Then there’s “Beautiful Day.” Apparently, it’s been around since 2013? Wow, I feel old. It’s supposed to be all fruity and floral, with apple and pear and stuff. Which, sounds…nice. Like, objectively pleasant. But “Hello Beautiful,” from what I can gather, is a bit more sophisticated. Nectarine, mandarin, pomelo? Sounds fancy. Like something you’d wear on a date…if you were going on a date. (sigh)
Honestly, they *sound* pretty different. One’s like, “Hey, I just picked some apples in the orchard!” and the other’s like, “I’m sipping a mimosa on a veranda overlooking the Amalfi Coast.” Okay, maybe not THAT dramatic, but you get the idea.
And the whole body wash/lotion/spray thing? It’s overwhelming! Like, do I *really* need the body wash, the lotion, the fine fragrance mist, and the freaking *hand sanitizer* all in the same scent? Maybe? I mean, I like smelling good. But also, I like having money. It’s a tough choice.
