First off, like, what IS it? Basically, from what I can gather (and based on my VERY thorough “research” aka scrolling through random websites), it’s a collection of Dior Addict goodies, probably centered around lips. We’re talking lip balm, lip gloss – the usual suspects. Apparently, there might even be a mini fragrance thrown in for good measure. I saw something about a serum too? Honestly, it’s a bit of a jumble.
Okay, so the marketing spiel is all about “radiant and hydrated lips” and blah blah blah anti-aging stuff. I mean, who *doesn’t* want that? But like, is it REALLY worth the Dior price tag? That’s always the question, isn’t it?
I gotta say, the packaging is probably gorgeous. Dior ALWAYS nails the packaging. I saw something about Pietro Ruffo doing the artwork, inspired by the Jardin des Tuileries. Honestly, I had to Google that. It looks pretty, I guess. All fancy and French and stuff. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging, I’ll admit it. It makes me feel all sophisticated, even if I’m just putting on lip balm while wearing sweatpants.
Here’s my biggest concern tho: Is it *actually* good stuff, or just overpriced lip gloss in a pretty box? I mean, I’ve tried Dior makeup before, and sometimes it’s AMAZING, and sometimes it’s just…meh. Like, I paid $$$ for this eyeshadow and it creased on me like, within an hour. Tragic.
I saw something on Sephora’s website – that probably means it’s legit, right? Although, Sephora sells, like, EVERYTHING. So, I don’t know.
Honestly, I’m torn. Part of me wants to splurge and treat myself. The other part of me is like, “Girl, you have 17 lip balms already. Do you *really* need another one, even if it *is* Dior?”
