From what I’m seeing in these snippets, there’s a whole lotta Goyard floating around. Luggage, wallets, even ties and belts. It’s all about that “opulent luxury,” which, let’s be real, is code for “really, really expensive.” And then there’s Saks OFF 5TH throwing in a “up to 70% OFF” deal… which makes me wonder, like, are we talking *actual* Goyard or Goyard-esque? Because, you know, there’s a *huge* difference. I’d be skeptical of anything TOO good to be true.
And then BOOM, hats! $3,250 for a hat? Dude. That’s, like, a down payment on a car. A *decent* car, mind you. Not a clunker. Who is buying these things? I guess if you’re rich enough to not blink at dropping that kinda cash on something you wear on your head, more power to ya. Me? I’d rather put that towards, I dunno, rent? Groceries? Maybe even a *slightly* less extravagant vacation.
The “baseball & trucker caps shops” bit is kinda throwing me off. Are people making their *own* Goyard-inspired hats? Is that what “custom, handmade pieces” means? If so, props to them. Gotta respect the hustle, even if I personally wouldn’t rock a knock-off. (Okay, maybe I would if it was REALLY well-made and dirt cheap, don’t judge me.)
“High Precision” still bugs me, though. I mean, I get that Goyard is about quality, but what makes a hat “high precision” exactly? Is it the way the canvas is cut? The placement of the little Y’s? Are they using like, laser-guided stitching or something? I’m genuinely curious, but also kinda rolling my eyes. It just seems like such a… niche thing to obsess over.
