Unless it’s a fake, which is a whole other can of worms we won’t get into right now.
The real kicker, the tax-free part, is where it gets a little…fuzzy. See, there’s all this stuff about VAT refunds. Which, if I understand it correctly (and let’s be honest, I might *not*), means if you’re visiting Europe, you can get some of the tax back on your Gucci hat purchase when you leave. Score!
